Who is @kayla_itsines?(pssst: This girl is on fire!)
Kayla Itsines is a 20-something personal trainer from Australia who has become known internationally for her body-transforming workouts (my fitness idol!). She has e-books on sale on her website: http://www.kaylaitsines.com.au/guides. They’re a little costly at around $70, but honestly it is SO worth it in the long run. It is a guide with over 10o pages of stretching, workout information, circuits, etc that is useful forever, so it’s not something you will only use once. I have purchased both Bikini Body Guide 1.0 and 2.0 bookleta for myself, and I can easily say they are SO effective! I used to not really follow it to the T, but rather just incorporate some of her circuits into my workouts already. Now, I have actually started to follow it and stick to it and have seen the most incredinle results! It is a 12-week program and people that follow it religiously have shown that they have toned up all over, lost inches/pounds, improved their overall fitness, and look incredible! Once you finish the first 12-week guide, you can simply repeat it or move on to the second guide, which incorporates more weights and tougher circuits.

As you can tell, this workout is the real deal for anyone wanting to get in better shape, FAST. Here’s a little sneak peak of the guide, an example of 2 circuits:
*Basically, you do as many rounds of the 4 diff types of exercises in 1 circuit as possible in 7 minutes. You do a total of 4 circuits a day, so thats only a total of 28 minutes of actual working out, and it kicks your butt!! QUICK but gets the job done!!(simple terms: you do 7 minutes of circuit 1, then move on and do as many rounds of circuit 2 as you can in 7 minutes, and then you repeat both.)
These types of workouts (high intensity interval training) have been shown to be more effective and burn more fat than longer-duration lower intensity workouts (i.e. doing the elliptical for 45 minutes or doing a yoga class, running, etc.) They are absolutely PERFECT for people like me who work full time and just some days don’t have time to get to the gym. You don’t need much space, and you can do most of the exercises without equipment. In the later weeks, some workouts do use a bench, a kettlebell, etc but I have just made adjustments and gone without them with no problem. Grab a friend and do it together! Having someone to do it too will keep you accountable and make it more fun. It’s one of the best workouts to gain strength quickly, and truly transform your body.

UPDATE (06/08/2015): I am now on Week 24 of her second guide and could not feel any better! I am gaining so much strength, am maintaining a 6 pack, and have more energy. I feel as if I could take on anything!!
