Were you ever one of those kids that could care less about your parent yelling in the background “That’ll get you sick, stop eating that!” as you dove head first into raw cookie dough, enjoying every delightful bite? I sure was. I have memories of buying the huge tubs of chocolate chip cookie dough from Costco with my Mom and literally taking a spoon and scooping the cookie dough straight out of the tub and into my mouth (oops, guilty).
Luckily, you don’t have to worry about getting sick with this special cookie dough (or the excess calories, sugar, and fat….no thank you now that I’m an adult). I can still get my fill of the decadent, gooey, dense cookie dough taste with a healthier version, meet The Lions Pack cook dough.

I initially tried monster cookie and chocolate chip cookie dough flavors…it was freakin’ hard to pick though with the countless flavors (oreo, birthday cake, snickerdoodle, red velvet….ALL gluten free and vegan!) They were both incredibly good, the first jars I ordered were gone in literally a week. Next on my to try list? Oreo, Cap’N Crunch, Snickerdoodle, and Snickers.
Now when I’m craving dessert, I reach for a spoonful of cookie dough (hello, 2 TBSP are only around 100 calories, not bad!). Plus, a little superfoods added and probiotics aren’t too bad either. No, they aren’t in huge amounts, but they definitely help turn this into a healthier cookie dough that you can feel guilt-free about eating!
I haven’t tried baking these into actual cookies since it is marketed as “edible” cookie dough, but I have a feeling they would be pretty good warmed in the microwave.
Other ways to enjoy this good stuff:
- add a dollop to your morning oats
- scoop into your morning smoothie in place of nut butter
- use as a dip for graham crackers as an almost-but-not-quite throwback to the amazing Dunkaroos
- Roll into bite sized balls for mid afternoon energy bites
- Roll into a flat cookie sized circle, microwave, and top with a scoop of icecream for a lower-cal icecream cookie combo
- or simply eat by the spoonful like me!
