Fall Season Charcuterie Board
It’s officially my favorite season AND my favorite month of the year! I love fall for SO many reasons, but whether you’re as into fall as I am, try your take at a fall season charcuterie board that’s perfect for entertaining. You will wow your guests!
With the pandemic, we aren’t entertaining as much of course, but it’s still fun to make a charcuterie board for your family or when you are having a few socially distant guests over. Charcuterie boards are my go-to for entertaining/appetizers since they tend to have at least something that everyone loves! I love to always ensure I have at least one from the following:
Fruit & Veg: crisp, crunchy, sweet, and colorful fruits & veggies. I added berries, cucumber, and tri color carrots.
Crackers: gotta have some crackers with your classic charcuterie board! One of my favorite vehicles for cheese.
Cheese: I like to get at least two types just in case people have preferences – I opted for smoked gouda (seemed very fall-ish to me), classic Brie, and another type of herby buttery cheese.
Sweets: cookies for those that want something sweet!
Nuts: go for more than just plain nuts – I opted for Trader Joe’s Almonds & Cashews with Everything but the Bagel Seasoning – they are SO good.
Decorative: for the fall season, I love to add sprigs of rosemary from the garden atop the brie, and sprinkle in a few Halloween-themed items like the pumpkin, candy corn, and fall inspired yogurt-covered pretzels
