Wholesome PB&J Oats

This bowl of warm, comforting oats takes you back to the childhood memory of PB & J. Filled with fresh local strawberries and raw almond butter, it doesn’t get more wholesome than this. Chia seeds add some healthy fats and the oats will keep you full for hours!



  • 1/4 cup quick rolled oats (certified gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (unsweetened)
  • 1.5 TBSP almond butter, warmed
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries (the riper, the better), chopped
  • 1 TBSP chia seeds
  • a few drops of liquid stevia
  • dash of cinnamon


  1. Add all ingredients except almond butter into a bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.
  2. Let cool, stir, and drizzle warmed almond butter on top.
  3. Enjoy!

Is it the warm drizzle of almond butter? Or the local, juicy strawberries? Or maybe the dash of cinnamon and gooey oats…or maybe just the fact that they all combine in the most perfect way together. Either way, these oats make for a beautifully wholesome breakfast, that’s for sure.

    There is something so comforting about the classic combo of nut butter and jam. Maybe becuase it was the highlight lunch of my childhood, it never gets old! This breakfast version looks incredible! I can imagine spooning in the drippy almond butter mixed with the sweet strawberries, YUM!
